I was watching some soccer games, even basebal, football, went to some museums, tried to get a sense out of a more classy culture.
Then I went to the mall, put on MTV, looked at California, NYC, and all of that and all I saw was trash, drama, plastic sugery nightmares, wacky clothing, body dysmorphia, all sorts of things, which is obviously creating a hhuge effect on our youngsters.
No other country seems to have as much of this as we here do, and I want to know, why can%26#039;t Americans in general be more %26quot;normal?%26quot;
Or a better way to put it is, why can%26#039;t they be less extreme.
In America it%26#039;s like the motto is, the bigger, the shinier, the faker, the better, and it%26#039;s getting ridiculous.
Why is America so obsessed with fakeness to the point of looking lilke a freakshow?
yea its all pretty stupid
Why is America so obsessed with fakeness to the point of looking lilke a freakshow?
The answer is that you should actually go to other countries, where you%26#039;ll find that people in general aren%26#039;t all that different and what you have is a superiority complex.
Reply:i totally agree. it%26#039;s embarrassing that our country has so little class.
Reply:Yeah, Amerikkka sucks, British and proud!
Reply:i totally agree with you, i%26#039;m born and raised here, but i have indian parents, and i think that americans are just caught up in being perfect, they use so many chemicals in makeup hair and get surgery, no wonder they%26#039;re so dumb and all the jobs are going to asia (india)
Reply:it%26#039;ll change in time but there%26#039;s nothing we can do but wait.
Reply:I agree. It%26#039;s as if the more people you look like a clone of, the better you look.
Reply:veryy good question..but don%26#039;t make it seem like USA is all about the fake breasts, botox, and fat McDonald%26#039;s eaters. Some people just arent satisfied thats all. USA has pretty much the freedom to be who/and what ever we would like to me.
Reply:I live in a part of Dallas where women wear implants, Botox and hair extensions to go shopping at the mall. I have come to love visiting other towns where the women look more like women than trout mouthed space aliens.
In answer to your question, they watch too much television and feel entitled to live in a fantasy land financed by credit cards and mortages they can%26#039;t afford.
Reply:No other country? How many countries have you went to study their culture?
Fake isn%26#039;t so bad, for some people its the only way to get look attractive. If a women want to wear fake hair, fake eyelash, tan, blond, perm her hair, get a boob or noes job, its her business. Being real is overrated. If you have a problem with it why don%26#039;t you move to a country were the women are so poor they don%26#039;t bother wasting their money to shave their legs.
I hate when men criticizes on women being fake? You really want us to go natural, let see how much you enjoy hairy women with shaggy boobs. So much easier for men to go %26quot;natural%26quot; you have no idea so shut up.
Reply:and that%26#039;s the beauty of it. here, you can wear whatever you want. you can do whatever you want. you can be who you want to be! i mean, if you don%26#039;t like it, you%26#039;re welcome to leave, but here you have the freedom to express yourself! yes, we are chaotic, but that%26#039;s not necessarily bad, is it?
Reply:Everything you are talking about in america is a result of excessive amounts freewill, culture clashes, different opinions, lifestyles all formed into one pile of fakeness. America bases its whole system on commercial and industry. Americans are obsessed with money and chasing the %26quot;american dream%26quot;. This has resulted into a materialistic, greedy country who manipulates its public. The public then buys into this scheme and believes they need all these extravagent items to make themselves better.
I may be wrong since i am only 15 years old but.. this is what i have observed growing up in america
Reply:Not everyone in America is like that and not everyone in other countries are perfect. I know that in my area, people aren%26#039;t like that. Don%26#039;t judge a whole country based on one type of people. We are all different.
